St. John’s, Park Slope

St. John's was founded in 1826 by the Rev. Evan Malbone Johnson, who served as Rector for the parish’s first twenty years.

PROJECT DETAILS

One volunteer has gone through the earliest parish records and compiled a list of members to research, while another has been looking into the wider context of the history of race relations in Brooklyn. With a new rector in place, a group of volunteers is ready to take on the research.
